Why It’s Terrible: Just as you think Michael Bay has a way of making a film about giant robots fighting each other in big battles, he makes a scene of great awfulness like this one. It just doesn’t make any sense.
5. T-Rex does Godzilla
The Movie: The Lost World: Jurassic Park
Why It’s Terrible: Steven Spielberg inserts a strange monster invasion scene into the end of this highly expected sequel – to stop from being exactly the same as the first movie, or maybe to intimidate the in-production Godzilla remake.
It’s terrible either way, make such a big fuss only to end it a few minutes later.
4. The Big Surf
The Movie: Die Another Day
Why It’s Terrible: A scene that is even worse than the stupid invisible car. Nasty villain Toby Stephens cuts up a glacier using a sky laser, forcing Bond to quickly transform his ice shuttle into a pair of skis and surfing on the collapsing tsunami. Weird enough.
