The 10 Worst Superhero Movie Sequels Of All Time

2. Son of Mask

Son-of-the-Mask-1

So, you’re probably saying, “I didn’t know that Mask was a superhero.”  But he was. The character came from a series of comic-books produced by Dark-Horse comics. The first movie made over $200M in profit, so what not go big with a sequel? So what do we get?  Son of Mask. Gross. After years of failed working to get Jim Carrey to reprise the role, including offering him at the time what would have been the highest salary for an actor in a film, Carrey moved on and we got stuck with Jamie Kennedy. Remember him? No? Probably for the better. This movie was an absolute bomb, losing around $10M and tanking the franchise for Dark Horse.

1. Batman and Robin

You knew it was going to be on the list right? It’s the worst. Ever. From where we stand today, it’s hard to believe there was ever a bad Batman movie, but this one was putrid. Acting was terrible, story was not-quite-good-enough, and the dialogue was impossible to handle.
