‘Velvet Goldmine’

The director Alex Cox wanted to create movie about  “Sex, drugs and rock’n'roll” and he perfectly coped with this task.

The film begins from the moment when police arrest Sid for the murder of Nancy at Hotel Chelsea. According to Sid’s words, he don’t remember anything and was on drugs. ‘Elvis’

Nothing extraordinary – just truthful film about the brilliant musician, but a very weak man. If the name “Elvis Presley” attracts you and you do not know where to begin acquaintance with his biography – you have to watch this biopic!

The scenario covers the period from the early 50′s until 1968 – the most active period of Prestley’s creativity.
