I’ve seen 12 of them: Spring in a Small Town, Yellow Earth, A Better Tomorrow, A Time to Live and a Time to Die, The Terrorizers (great Blu-ray!), Rouge, A City of Sadness, Days of Being Wild, Swordsman 2, Vive L’amour, Crouching Tiger HIdden Dragon and Infernal Affairs.

Incredibly, my favorite local video store has Street Angel, The Spring River Flows to the East, Two Stage Sisters and, from Wong Kar-Wai’s list, Song at Midnight. I’m going to rent them all.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a film directed by Ann Hui, a gap in my film knowledge…what is widely regarded as her best film(s) that western audiences could relate to ?

By the way, thanks for Dario Argento recommendations, at the end of the month I will post a few mini-reviews ( :
